Ct600 new version

Ct600 version 3

Didn't find your answer?

Just attempted to file my CT600 on the HMRC software. It's a new version. At the end at profit and loss accounts statement I receive the following message.

Current total period must equal profit and loss on the balance sheet. It does not give any references to what boxes are not totalling up and as far as I am aware it is all ok, especially as no errors arise when completing the profit and loss section or the balance sheet. This error is right at the end when it is showing profits transferred to reserves???

Any help appreciated. Is there a fault in the system?

Agents can't use version 3 so you may struggle to get help on here.

I'm not an agent, it is my own company. I done my own book keeping and accounts for 8 years as a sole trader and 3 as a limited company. However I do remember everyone getting very [***] with me before when I asked a question on here.

The point that lion was making is that since you are seeking help from a forum on which the majority of answers are posted by agents, you are unlikely to get an answer, since agents do not use the software you are having a problem with.

You should contact HMRC, or perhaps try a forum aimed at businesses rather than accountants.

Thank you Tim. Precisely.

"How would we know ?" is indeed what I'm saying. But I should've expected that someone would get the monk on.
