Delay in Tax Return info shown in Gateway Account

Is anyone else finding its taking longer for submitted Return info to appear on clients tax account?

Didn't find your answer?

I just wondered if anyone else is finding its taking longer than usual for the details from online Tax Returns to show up on Government Gateway tax accounts.

I have a client needing a tax overview urgently for a mortgage application and its now been 5 days since submission and it still says Tax Return not submitted.  I believe it should show within 72 hours

Don’t know about personal returns but I have at least 2 CT returns lodged in December and January still not reflected in the online record.

Numerous questions/posts about this already and a recent blog as well with a bit more info about why it might be delayed.

Thanks for info. Delay cant be to do with not matching SEISS in this case as no grants were claimed.

I have one. Self-assessment tax return submitted 3 weeks ago, via HMRC's software, no SEISS. Return shows as submitted and received but the tax figures have not yet been pulled through. I will soon have to submit a postponement application for the July payment on account, if nothing happens.

I am really surprised by this as I have put through returns claiming SEISS and with no claim and all have gone through and I am able to print off overviews Refunds being received. I have to admit that I submitted mine during April and beginning of May so perhaps HMRC have recently changed their modus operandi. the other thing perhaps is that maybe all these checks are with HMRC software rather than commercial. I am using Keytime.

I use Iris and it still shows "not yet received" for the 2020/21 year submitted nearly a week ago.

You're gonna love this.
Submitted clients return 25th May 2021. 2 grants. Small refund due. Refund issued 1st June 2021. In my clients' account today. Went into account and can print overview.
So yes, bring a few beers, (that will keep the fee down) and let's get going.

I am having the same problems , ensure any SEISS grants are entered on the SA Return as this can delay matters
