What Tax Year to include in personal Return

Didn't find your answer?

Personal Return: Which tax year would you include Superannuation contributions where there is a month's delay-example March 20 paid April 20-should that be included in the 19/20?

The thing is the dentist who is an associate rather than principal isn't actually paid the amount until April however the NHS My eSchedule Reports shows "Payments we have made on 31/3/20"
I am not totally convinced that treating it as April and therefore in the following tax year is correct.

Sorry to revisit but can we be clear here-paid by NHS to the practice OR paid to the Associate?
