I work in a small business and we help international and EU families to find for their children in schools and universities in UK (is like consultation business). Now the vat looks confusing as the schools and our office are based in uk but clients residency can be in EU or Mexico or USA, Saubi Arabia etc, all over the world. Do we charge vat? We used to charge EU clients vat but not international but now with brexit I am confused.
If the child gets the placement only the child moves to uk, parents are still in their residency country.
I am confused because the service we provide is in uk but the client lives abroad. Shall we charge vat or not?
I guess we charge vat only UK clients and not charge vat EU and internationals but I want to clarify that.
thank you.
