Docuclipper - Any good?

Received marketing email for data extraction program. Is it worth looking into?

Didn't find your answer?

Received a marketing email from DocuClipper this morning (it came into multiple people in our firm).

It claims to be able to convert PDF bank statements into Excel files, or upload them directly into cloud accounting software (Xero, Sage and "other"). This could potentially be a useful piece of software to have in the office, but I have not heard of it before.

Does anyone have any experience of using DocuClipper and, if so, what were the results like?

Give it a a go.
I have had same email and tried an RBS statement which is perhaps the ultimate test.
It got two statements within a penny running balance wise
dates failed - mixing up 29th month with 9th month
Not all running balances included no biggie.
Details look mostly ok - although there is some wrong info brought in maybe not a biggie if its only "balance forward" on top line
that gets a 8.5/10 from me.
Seems sensibly priced at £80 for 2000 statements if i am reading it right

Looks interesting, but being based in USA you'd need to check GDPR compliance. Plenty of other good options like Dext/AutoEntry etc that do the same

I've starting using it recently and it's not bad. Reasonably priced either by subscription or purchasing blocks of pages. Had a few issues with dates and formatting but nothing I couldn't resolve quickly in Excel.

Yes, I use it for a client who sends me Barclays statements in pdf. 9 months ago, the dates were a bit over the place, but it has improved a lot, and recent experience was very good. You can buy a number of pages, rather than a plan
