Does anyone use the Deadline Diary in Taxfiler?

Query on functionality

Didn't find your answer?

I've just started to "play around" with this facility, got it going well for my VAT, limited company and CIS reminders, but it's showing Self Assessment Returns due in January for all my SA clients.

As you can only manually update statuses up to 3 months in advance, this would mean I can't update the status of clients as and when I submit the Returns from April.

Does this not automatically update the status as and when you submit Returns?

Changed the software, now using Taxcalc because you cannot add or edit charts of accounts on Taxfiler

Frankly this is not a problem for me . If there is any doubt I attach a rec from client TB to Taxfiler PL but i've only been asked once , 99% of my clients are simply not interested in historical guff

Tell me about it, I have one client, limited company, who I don't even get to set foot inside his home office (even before Covid!). I turn up ready to go through the figures and he just wants to know where to sign and how much tax to pay. No interest whatsoever in the figures! Others aren't quite like that but I must have only a handful who are deeply interested

As I can't edit my OP, this is now OK and working like it should.

Yep, holding my hands up to the error, wish I could delete the OP but hey ho.

I will still use the pie chart and return status on the Home Screen for initial review, but as I'm now using the Deadline Diary for Confirmation Statements, CIS Returns etc. it will be handy to have the SA in there too all together.
