Does 'Directors Remuneration' include Employers NIC?

Does 'Directors Remuneration' include Employers...

Didn't find your answer?

Just having a brain blip - should note regarding Director's remuneration in the accounts include or exclude employers NIC? I guess Employers NIC is technically 'cost of remuneration' rather than 'remuneration'. Any consensus?

i'd say that employers' NI is shown separately in the accounts and that includes directors ni. in the accounts note though on directors rem, it doesn't include the ni for disclosure purposes.  oops

Employers' NIC is not required to be shown anywhere in the statutory accounts or notes.

How does your opinion - that Directors' Remuneration in the Operating Profit note includes NIC - comply with the law set out in s.412(2) CA 2006 and SCG(ADR) Regs. 2008 Sch.3, 1?

[EDIT]  Oh!  I see that you have changed your mind, so now we are all agreed.
