For those who use the likes of Receipt Bank etc, I have the following questions:
1. Does this program recognise if a receipt was a cash payment and not the usual company debit card?
2. Where a director has used his personal debit card, does it/can it recognise this?
I know I can call them to ask this, but I would like a response from those who actually use it.
Many thanks!

Yes to both. The idea is it links with your accounting software and then exports the transaction to the correct bank account.
Some subscriptions, I think Extract, do not offer this however.
Yes it does, but you need to make sure the integration is set up correctly. Definitely worth speaking to Receipt Bank!
I can confirm that ReceiptBank picks up the last 4 digits of the card from the receipt as long as this is uploaded. You can set RB to automatically recognise the various cards used and categorise them so you can easily filter on personal card transactions. This wouldn't work though if you happened to have a client with cards ending in the same 4 digits (eg from different card providers)....
You can also automate the treatment of expenditure from different sources within Receipt Bank e.g. so that cash expenditure goes to the petty cash account, personal expenditure on a card goes to a DLA or drawings etc.
