Dont do it

MTD

Warning :

Spoken to HMRC and now underastand how to sign clients up in theory HOWEVER unless you are actually signing them up you cant see how the process works. I am not taking any risks do non of my clients will be signed up until its mandatory. All my clients are on SageClientManager and I cant even talk to them on the phone. Any advice please ?

Why would anyone want to voluntarily sign up for MTD ?

There will be a big rush come April 2019. At the moment suppliers have the ability to do a lot more handholding.

Isn't this kinda how a pilot scheme works? Like beta testing.

Perhaps sign up your own business, and/or a few clients who you get on well with and don't mind you won't 100% know exactly what to click where etc. That's what we're trying to do.
