Early P35 Filing

Early P35 Filing

Didn't find your answer?

As we complete the monthly payrolls for March can we file the P35 online or must we wait until 5 April?

Yes

HMRC insist you file P35 online early when companies cessate, so the answer is yes you should be able to file a live P35 before 5 April, but I have only done this via HMRC website for the odd Ltd co/Directors and not third party software.

I filed one on Monday using Moneysoft

all has been accepted by HMRC with no problems.

I try to do this every year with most clients as March monthly payrolls are generally calculated in early to mid March.  It avoids the rush and the good old 'gateway busy' notifications.

Moneysoft is really good

I use Moneysoft for my smaller business and Sage for the other Business (although trying to get this changed over to Moneysoft). Much prefer Moneysoft, very easy to use and excellent value for money, great style payslips....without having to buy stationery.

If I wasnt too busy dealing with all these incorrect Tax Code notices.....I too, might get ahead with my P35 filing!

HMRC certainly not getting good press at the minute
