The recent Accountingweb article on filing accounts at Companies House mentioned it's possible to submit LLP accounts electronically. This will be a game changer for us as we have many LLP clients with partners scattered all around the world.
We've had a look at the Companies House Webfiling service and I can't see any way to file online. Does anyone known if it's possible to submit LLP accounts electronically and, if so, how?

This would be helpful for me too. One of the site's other users mentioned Gbooks supports electronic submission of LLP accounts. I don't use that software myself so can't verify that.
Presumably other software providers will support electronic submission in time. But it will probably take six months to a year to roll out.
Was I the other Aweb user?
Anyway, I can confirm that it is possible to submit LLP accounts electronically, and that Gbooks supports this functionality.
I've submitted two sets of accounts over the last week or so and both went through without a hitch.
I was told on the 30th ,when visiting them (Edinburgh), that they were not aware of any online functionality being introduced re LLP accounts.
I did specifically ask , it was a particularly memorable and fraught day, we had a water leak from the tank in the attic coming through a cupboard off an upstairs bedroom and then through that floor to the lounge below (148 year old cornice etc now needs repainted but at least has not broken)
I needed to rush to Co Hse with a set of LLP accounts to avoid a penalty and all plumbers appeared to have stopped work that lunchtime making it somewhat stressful.
However a £110 plus vat call out charge (covering the first hour) was eventually procured by my other half and we accordingly did not have to endure a constant drip into a basin over the holiday period ,so was a price worth paying.
Tax Calc Accounts production does not appear to online file re LLPs,or if it does I have not yet been able to find that functionality.
The answer is ... not by Webfiling.
If you have a look at my article titled 'Is Companies House rejecting more accounts?' (loaded on 3 Jan 2017!) at the end you will see this comment:
" LLP electronic submission – this facility was made available to software providers in July but is not available on Webfiling as yet. It is apparently on their ‘to do list’, but meanwhile they have been concentrating on ‘filleted format'.
Presumably the OP was referring to your article in the original post?
The question seems to be whether Aweb users know of any commercial software providers that have taken advantage of facility mentioned in your piece. And we know of one supplier that has.
I very much doubt it. If the big boys like Iris haven't added it yet I doubt the marginal firms will add it any time soon.
VT Final accounts has the function to submit accounts electronically to Co House.
Per the workbook checklist page for LLP accounts... "These accounts can be filed electronically with Companies House by choosing the VT XBRL>Companies House>Generate New Submission command."
