Electronic VAT Invoices:

Electronic VAT Invoices:

Didn't find your answer?

HMRC are pretty clear concerning Electronic Invoices.

Q.V.

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/vat-notice-70063-electronic-i...

How many e-Invoices do and your clients receive which are non-compliant?

Mainly they lack correct address and VAT Registration Number ....

ISPs and mobile phone companies lead the pack, here!

More so since increasingly, they bill customers a penalty charge for not accepting e-Invoices and insisting on paper bills.

From Premier Inn,

If you accept an e-invoice from Premier Inn, or request a copy, it will not have the VAT summary completed.

If, on the other hand, you get an invoice at time of checking in, having specified it when making the booking, you get the VAT summary.

Strange bit of programming that.

@chrismalherbe

My practice also offers a service...

It educates clients on VATA compliance and thereafter either handles their VAT accounting, or sets-up a system to enable them to handle this themselves.

With MTBfb now rolling out, we also manage this process for clients, too.

Smaller registered VAT traders seem invariably myopic insofar as their duties 0f retaining records are concerned.

All this said, No VAT Qualified invoice/bill/receipt/ticket/docket, then no reclaim of Input Tax.

"...so we can automatically file your hotel invoices for reclaim."

In another EU state where the UK-based trader has no registered VAT presence.

And after March 30th, EU End Use Tax incurred abroad on provable business activities, will in all probability, be a thing of the past.

Non?

A small SWOT Analysis this week, perhaps?
