Eligibility Request Review timescale

How long are you finding it takes

Didn't find your answer?

I have requested reviews for 3 of my clients where HMRC say they are ineligible but we believe they are.  The earliest being on the 6th May.  I have not had any call backs at all to date.

On ringing one helpline today it was concluded I needed to ring the Agent Line, whereby at the end of a lengthy message they put the phone down on me (this is the second time as I rang them last week too).

Are others, having problems with the ringbacks?

Try the agent line at 8am. Most people on here have found that the claims are as expected so if you want to provide details of why you think they are wrong that may help in the meantime.

Sorry just saw your other posts so no need to rehash here. If they think the agent helpline will help then call first thing tomorrow.

Appealed on May 14th and got a call back today, appeal was unsuccessful which I pretty much expected and had told the client this as well (SEISS)

Sorry but why are you entering appeals when HMRC have given you the result you expected?

Surely this just wastes HMRC's time and gives them less time to deal with other matters?

If the client wishes to appeal then they are entitled to do so, just because in my opinion it would be unsuccessful does not mean that HMRC would see it the same.
