Entrepreneur's releif when selling 5% of business

Didn't find your answer?

My client wishes to sell 5% of their shares, but will remain in the business and keep 45 % of the shareholding.  I think they are entitled to entreprenuer's releif, but there maybe rules about remaining in the business.

Can you direct me to the right research

I tend to work on a being-close-enough-to-find-it-if-needed principle.

It doesn't work when I'm in the wrong Act though.

But you could be in the right Act. We don't know.

"my client"

One would imagine all accountants know where ER Rules are... (I may of course be wrong, but its taught fairly extensively).
