Equity actor trading through limited company

Can 'employment' income of an actor be brought into a limited company?

Didn't find your answer?

We have a new client who has set up a limited company but the majority of whose income is being put through payslips each week but with an NT code.  Pension is being deducted as per auto enrolment rules but no tax or NI.

My understanding from what I have read is that there is an agreement that such income can be treated as self-employment for SATR purposes.  My question is whether, if the actor trades through a limited company (he does also have invoiced income for other work and some photography work that he has done) the income can ever be treated as income of the limited company?
