Filing full audited accounts online

Didn't find your answer?

I’m looking to file a full set of audited accounts online. In previous years I have filed by post, but due to the deadline being close, I will need to file online or be penalised. Can anybody advise on how to do this please?

I have logged in to to Companies House but can only see options to file abridged or micro entity accounts.

We don’t have any. Our stat accounts are produced externally.

Is that the only way, other than filing by post?

Get the blokes who prepared your accounts to do it.

Failing that, guaranteed delivery's your best bet.

Good luck !!

Only around 200 miles. :)

Looks like a late filing penalty it is then. I’m sure if they’re received on the day of the deadline then they’re still classed as ‘late’ due to it taking a week to process?

Cheers for the response anyway all.

Date of receipt is king.

Jeez - what a pessimist you are !!

Royal Mail 24 with signature £4.86

Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1 pm £7.40

Based on a 250g large letter.

Both substantially cheaper than the £150 penalty.

Get down to the post office tomorrow morning.

Or .................

Why not shorten your accounting period ?

Deadline is then July.

It's like magic.

Just to clarify ...

If you shorten by 1 day, you do not have to change the accounts to the new accounting date because s.390(3) CA 2006 allows accounts to be made up to any date within 7 days before or after the ARD. You can therefore file your existing externally prepared accounts as they stand within 3 months from the date of giving notice to CoHo of the shortened ARD.
