For the first pay period ending 5th July if the employee has worked 3 days (MTW) out of 5 (was previously furloughed under V1 so qualifies under V2 for average hours for 5 days less 1 day worked W) the gross amount under flexi furlough works out more than his usual pay because of the 7 day rule. Another one where they have been furloughed under V1 MT then worked WT under flexi furlough but the resultant gross pay is like 25% up on their normal pay. Whole weeks will make a lot more sense but struggling to understand and explain this week's figures to the client? Anyone else have this issue?

If you provide some numbers, the issue might become more apparent.
Bear in mind that under flexible furloughing, you're having to deal with worked hours and usual hours (not days) within any given pay period.
