Flexible furlough - full month in August - probs?

Does working a full month in August preclude a later claim?

Didn't find your answer?

We have staff members who were on flexible furlough in July (after meeting phase 1 requirements).

If they then work for the whole of August (and are hence not included in the August claim), does this preclude it being possible to put them back onto flexible furlough for September/October?

They can return to Furlough at a later date. No problem.

Not in my book!
The 'flexible furlough' left the arrangements to the employer and employee - thereby enabling flexibility. Business recovery is very uncertain, and in places like Pubs where zero hours may be very relevant - hours may go up and back down depending upon whether there might be further local lockdowns etc.
