When we form a new company for a client there are a variety of forms which need to be completed and signed by the directors - CT41G, 64-8 for the company and also for each of the directors, SA1 for each director, VAT1 and possibly VAT600, dispensation application, FBI2, directors guarantee form, and so the list goes on.
We currently print the forms off as pdf's from HMRC website and hand write them. Not only is this time-consuming but it is does not give as professional an image as I would like
We have tried converting the pdf's to Word documents and mail merging but this doesn't work well.
Is there any software which is geared up for this? What do others do?
Any advice would be welcomed

Look at the Adobe software that is a step up from the free version that enables you to fill in PDF forms on screen.
BTC...
...auto populates some of the above forms for you. Would be nice to have others such as VAT 1 if you are looking at this BTC people :o)
VAT 1 Form
Hi MissAccounting,
Thanks for the mention! I just checked with our development team and the VAT 1 form is due to be added to PM Solution quite soon. Please don't forget we are always interested to hear of any other features you'd like to see included and there is a direct route straight to our developers for this which is the email address - [email protected].
I hope this helps,
Andrew
Andrew, great service as always! If this wasn't a professional environment I would give you guys a hug!
do pdf
Some HMRC forms can be completed on screen and then printed off - but can NOT be saved in their completed form - unless the completed form is printed to pdf before closing the form.
do pdf is a very easy to use and free pdf tool that works in the above context - particularly helpful with form 64-8.
I have also used Adobe (full version) and found it to be a very complicated to use and very expensive pdf tool.
PTP Forms Online
I have this as part of my service and I believe it complates HMRC forms, as well as Companies House and various others. You are also able to create your own. It costs £49
Iris Laserform
We use Iris Laserform. It is not cheap but has a lot of forms and allows you to save the data.
