Furlough starting after 10 June

Employee who has been furloughed in April and May

Didn't find your answer?

An employee has been furloughed over April and  some of May and is currently working.

Can the employee be put onto furlough after 10 June and the new furlough period last only up to 30 June when CJRS part 1 ends?

Has to be on furlough for three weeks to be able to claim the grant. Why is July 1st an issue for you ?

I was wondering the same - the scheme after 1 July has been described as a "new scheme" or "version 2" so is it definite that furlough of less than 2 weeks by 30 June will be eligible ie part of the 3 week period extending into July is OK?

I think this thread might answer your question as I was pondering over that one too: https://www.accountingweb.co.uk/any-answers/part-time-furloughing

Thanks for the link. I'm hoping there is some sort of provision/concession for three week furloughs that cross the 30 June but that might be a vain hope.
