Furlough where no written employment contract

What do I go on?

Employee taken on in March at a rate of £10/hour didn't qualify for original furlough, but employer kept them on and paid them £800 per month from April onwards, agreeing that they would put in a few hours work where required.

Nothing was ever put in writing, and the employer is looking to claim furlough for November.

Do I just treat usual wages as £800 and usual hours as 80 hours per month?
