Glass-half-full member of the year?

Glass-half-full member of the year?

Didn't find your answer?

We've introduced a new category into this year's Community Awards: a prize for the most positive, cheerful, upbeat, happy or charitable member you know.

Who's the member who always has that sage piece of advice, encourages others to look on the bright side, or simply cheers you up by reading their posts?

We want to know who the 'Glass-Half-Full' member of the year is for you.

To vote, leave a comment with your nominated member's name below. You can also register a vote by 'thanking' a comment already made which mentions the member you want to nominate.

The winner will receive a small gift from our sponsors at Clear Books and will be announced in our 20 December email bulletin.

Reverse award?

Will there be a glass half-empty award for the member that, whilst being helpful, always points out the worst consequences possible from any action?

Stepurhan - for me that has to be David Winch, whilst he has such a vast amount of knowledge and is incredibly helpful he does always come up with the best 'worst case' scenario!  Recent thread about personal bank accounts springs to mind!

In response to the OP, Mouse for me too  - always makes me smile even at the times I don't feel I'll be smiling ever again!

Chip.

Mouse gets my vote

And if we had to vote for a "glass half-empty" nominee I suspect it would be a case of

"X (substitute any one of a number of names) is unable to be with us this evening - he tried to get in but was refused entry."

Glass half full or half empty?

What about an award for the contributor who doesn't have a glass?

We are accountants

We should belong to the "glass is twice as big as it needs to be" brigade.
