Going around in circles MTD

The upgrade doesn't seem to let me sign up my clients as before?

Ok I signed up a few clents on Friday first thing then on the last one I had a message 'technical difficulties' and now when I try to sign in following the link I have a message you cant sign up from this page. Why change the system now. Of course the helplines are closed and whether they can help all depends on who you talk to too. The Revenue should have sorted the system out properly before making it complusory its driving me nuts.

I also am now getting the same message saying I cannot sign clients up from this page anymore and directs me back to gov.uk.

Response from helpline after 20 mins on phone 'known issue' try again in afternoon! Why wasn't it put on the service availability page then?

We have the same problem, when we try to click ‘Sign up your client business’ it says you cannot access the services from this page and directs you to the Gov.Uk home page. Hopefully they can resolve it soon.

I've just tried again, and "sign up your clients business" now seems to be working fine.

I have had this issue. Something that works for us is to login to our ASA in one tab, and then open up the "sign up your clients business" in another .

Ok tried again now it says 'experiencing technical difficulties'. Phoned HMRC again and they said log it with the 'get help' facility on the page and submit the vat the old way. Apparently it is an intermittent fault with some customers, it may not happen if I try to sign up another client.....! What a robust system.
Thank you for the advice DonDan I did try but it didn't work for me.
