Wishing everyone a very enjoyable, if windy, day.
Might fly there on Hale & Pace's 'Yorkshire Airlines' that doesn't leave T'Leeds airport cos "If it ain't in Yorkshire it's not bloody well worth visiting"
Eee by 'eck, I live in the old North Riding.
Why was there never a South Riding?
Because Riding means 1/3. Hence you had North, East & West Riding.
There are - or were - South Ridings in both Lincolnshire and Co Tipperary.
Just a heads up - tomorrow is East Riding Day.
I find it easier to live in Warwickshire - no need for all this 'riding' stuff.
