I'm guessing that there's a connection with that and Shetland Day.

The traditional Shetland celebration on the 21st June is to climb to the top of Ronas Hill, the highest point in the islands, and wath the sun set at 22.35 and watch it rise again at 3.39, enjoying the perpetual twilight (known as the Simmer Dim) while you are there.
