Has anyone used Key Pay payroll software

Didn't find your answer?

I'm looking at payroll providers to cater for 150 employees.

I want it to be as automated as possible to minimise key strokes. Must have an employee portal for employees to update their own records and download their own payslips and P60's, must have timesheet capability for manager approval, must be able to create bank compliant BACS for making payments.

I have come across Key Pay and wondered whether anyone has any experience of using Key Pay?

Thanks for your feedback in advance.

Not heard of it but have you looked at BrightPay?

I did some benchmarking around a year ago and that came out on top (four our requirements anyway) and we made the switch this year - it's been a godsend!

Not sure about the timesheet bit but I know you can have departments and operate an approval system for hours worked etc.

Thanks @Payrollgal, appreciate your comments and recommendation.
I'll take a look.

Is it only desktop based however or do they have a cloud offering?

It's rare to hear Keytime mentioned on Accounting Web. BrightPay and Moneysoft are very well thought on here. I've been using BrightPay for quite a while now and I can't fault it.

I thought it might be worth mentioning that Keytime is part of IRIS and their reputation for annual price increases proceeds them. BrightPay and Moneysoft very popular with Accounting Web members.

My mistake sorry. It doesn't seem to be the same company. That'll teach me for half reading questions.

Please consider Brightpay. I have used it for years and it.It has an excellent cloud feature called CONNECT. The employees can access what you require and there is an App for them. It has made the whole process of Payroll simple and should you ever need it there is excellent back up.
