Has HMRC axed useful information

Didn't find your answer?

You used to be able to get the equivalent of the old SA302 form from HMRC (Tax Overviews) It appears to have vanished from their web site or is it me not looking properly.

Can anyone advise further?

I'm not sure what you require the SA302 for but we have found a number of lenders will now accept out printed tax calculation accompanied by the tax year overview printed from the HMRC website. This avoids the wait for them to arrive after you have requested them.

Not reading

Either the first two responders are reading the question wrong or I am, it seems Bernard is having trouble getting the Tax Year Overview.

If so, you can find it on your client page, on the left under "Your current client" select "view account" then "tax years"

Apologies if it is in fact me who has misunderstood.

e: I'm assuming you're logged in as an agent, if you're logged in as the taxpayer I have no idea what it looks like.

Different things...

The tax overview is the summary page. The SA302 is the tax calculation. You can only get the calculation from HMRC's site if the return was filed using HMRC's software.

I'm aware of that

The CML guidance advises that instead of a SA302 the lenders ought to accept a calculation from the accountant accompanied by the overview. It is the equivalent of an SA302 for the purpose of confirming the liability for the year with HMRC.

This is the only "equivalent" of an SA302 that's ever been on their website so it's what I assumed he was looking for.
