An interview on a Sunday! What is your training in the Accounting arena? Is this job UK based?

I don't think there is anything in that that would worry an experienced management accountant, although similarly you would expect to be given some specific company instructions about how that process is carried out in this company.

For example - accruals is a fairly easy concept, as is updating them. However, each company has a way of actually establishing what they may be - that you need to be aware of.

Maybe the big graphics attracts the morons?
I don't think AccountingWeb will have many serious posts soon. I've seriously cut down on looking at it and I do know other people have.

Just been reading about people who have deleted whole swathes of their posts with the change in anonymity rules, albeit AWeb have since changed it all again, too little too late!

But if you are applying for a job and you don't have any experience of the work either they will train you or you are not suitable. What made you come to this website?

Hi
A graduate in what? I would presume in Accounting but if that was the case then you would've heard of most of the terms that are in the description. Just seems strange to be asking such a question only a few hours before the interview. What parts of the job description are you confident with, narrows down the question a bit, although do you realise this is a UK based website?!

Sorry but you have come to a web site that has just committed suicide. There's been a rapid falling off of people using the site in the last week. The people who run it don't understand why people don't think it's better.

From the way you have asked the question it would appear that you are totally unsuited for the job. If that is not the case can you indicate why not?

If you don't understand the job description without someone else explaining it to you you won't be able to do the job.
