Have you been contacted by Kantar Public

HMRC under review

Didn't find your answer?

Have you recently been contacted by phone by Kantar Public.  This week I was contacted in my capacity as a humble, life long, part time fiscal agent.  The chap asked his questions about HMRC  with such speed and mumble that I couldn't really understand what he was on about.  The rating of HMRC each question was 1 to 5. I gave 4 for most questions thus approving of HMRC.  Was I too generous. Many questions were not pertinent to me. A lot of mumbo jumbo.

I agree (except that it should more correctly read "writes")

The problem will be that they will quote the results when it suits them. So perhaps saying not applicable would have been the better answer when it wasnt a relevant or understandable question to you.

I agree with a 4 if thats the true answer but its not really helpful to anyone (HMRC or those they quote the study to) to give a 4 when its not clearly appropriate.

Yes. I've spoken to them.

I mainly gave 1 or 2. Apparently you weren't allowed to give zero or negative numbers.

Welcome back.

I read the question without see the author and thought to myself “that seems the grammatical mental doodling of MrBailey” and lo and behold!

Giving free marketing and quality data to entities is now a thing of my past, anyone who now wants my feedback needs to offer to pay me, no money no feedback.

If doing the exercise is valuable to the party having the research done then it ought to have a price they are willing to pay to me, if it is not valuable to them then why are they wasting my time with their stupid questions in the first place.

( I have also decided that I need a 8 year training period before becoming a grumpy senior citizen so am starting the process now to be ready later)

My approach is akin to my brother in law's back in the day when shops gave you their branded plastic bags, he always used them turned inside out as he was not prepared to walk around for the store giving them free advertising.

Agreed for all commercial entities I await the offer of reward before replying but happy to make a big exception for HMRC just to have the pleasure of awarding so many 1 and 2 scores.

The chap I spoke to was unfailingly polite and easy to understand.
