Help!! I haven't filed a personal tax return for the last 3 years

Tax Returns

Didn't find your answer?

Dear All, thanking you in advance for reading and replying.

I set up a limited company 3 years ago and for the last 3 years I haven't filed a tax return for the last three years.  Silly I know, but its eating away at me and I would really appreciate advice and want to know if I can file the last three years' tax returns retrospectively. I understand that there may be a fine and possible charges relating to interest and would like to know if there are any accountants out there that can advise and assist me with these returns.

Feeling guilty :-(

Where are you based I'd be happy to have a chat - feel free to drop a pm.

The good news is it may not be as bad as you fear.

As pacta says, location is a key piece of information which you overlooked.

Before you get latched onto by an accountant eager to offer his valuable services, you need to be clear about some things.

If you are talking about personal tax returns, have you even been sent a notification that you need to do them? There is no requirement for you to submit personal returns just because you own a company, unless you have taxable income to declare or have been required to file returns by HMRC.

To be honest, advertising for an accountant on a public forum probably isn't the best idea.
