Help on very very late tax returns

Hi everyone would like some advice please

Can anyone tell me how i go about returning very very late tax returns 2005/2006 ,2006/2007,2007/2008,2008/2009,2009/2010 as far as i can tell i dont owe any tax but do have outstanding fines of around £1000 + which after reading some articles about late returns seems very low . Havnt contacted the Tax office yet dont want to throw spanner in works until know whats best to do .Any advice will be most welcome  kindest regards Rob

Hi Rob. Appoint an accountant and they will be able to talk you through the options

For the years you state, penalties would have been reduced to what you owe. Which seems to be nothing.

The snag is, you may be out of time to displace any determinations that HMRC have issued.

Hi no determinations have bean issued just the fines shall i just send them in or am i asking for trouble thanks Rob

download the returns from HMRC and fill in manually if you think you have no taxable income the calculation should be straight forward , sign them and send them in with your appeal

For years before 2010 he won't even need to appeal.

Hi again you have lost me ,,,appeal ,,, i have the tax returns to fill in but can you explain as dont understand all the in and outs thanks Rob

We don't have any idea of your income status spend 200 and save 1000 by going to a pro, there are far too many unknowns for someone to help
