HMRC address change issues P800

HMRC address change issues P800

Didn't find your answer?

Our firm moved premises last year after 40 odd years and we have had the unenviable task of updating our address with HMRC.  We seem to be OK now with SA, CT etc but we keep getting P800 tax calculations sent to the old premises.  Does anyone know the best way of resolving this or which HMRC department to write to?

Hopefully it will not mean each client record neeing to be updated by HMRC manualy.

One by one only, and even then only if they feel like it

had the same problem

its linked to the online agent address (not sure why this differs from the normal agent address) which you can only update with online services - change it for one client and it should change for all

the agent maintainer had stated they couldnt update it, but they did eventually acknowledge the request and update it withem as well, but only after complaining

been there and have the t-shirt - if not on self assessment they need to be done one by one.

On Paye - you have to actually ask Agent Maintainer to amend the client correspondence address if the paperwork should come to you - as this is separate to your agent details!

One by one only, and even then only if they feel like it. Legacy problem from proper old 64-8 forms in paper for employees
No connection with your modern agent system and agent numbers for
self assessment
