HMRC AML supervision - Updating the Application

How do you go about it...

Didn't find your answer?

I’ve had a message from HMRC, the AML department, “visible from inside my AMLS account”.

Having renewed, or rather paid, a couple of months ago, this new message states, “If [relevant] training has/will be completed, please update the application to specify what training has/will be undertaken”.

Obviously, when I renewed, I either ticked the wrong box or overlooked something or other.  My problem is this: when I’ve logged in, how on earth can I “update the application”?  I can “Check or update my business information”, or “Check my messages”, but that’s about it.

I recall having to amend a renewal a few years ago online.  Can readers steer me to where I can do this now, please?

So, I've been asked to "update my application", with not even a hint of how to go about doing this. Have any readers needed to update their application, and if so, how, please?

Go to • Check and Update your Business Information
Then • Manage Business Information
• Manage Responsible Persons
• Amend Responsible Person

It sounds as though you may have marked a box to say that someone in your firm doesn't have previous experience & then said they are undergoing training but not provided enough detail of what type & when it will be completed.
