HMRC data retrieval for IRIS

Is anyone else having issues?

Our Data Retrieval option on IRIS Personal Tax is very hit and miss - on some clients it pulls in all data perfectly, on others nothing is available.  Is anyone else having this issue?  We have spoken to IRIS and they say everything is set up correctly from our end, so the issue must be that HMRC haven't yet processed the income data (i.e. employment and pension  P60s etc) and they say this will happen between July and September!  Is anyone else having this issue with IRIS or have you any experience with HMRC not processing until September.  Doesn't sound right to us!

Yes September is not unusual. Still can't pull over data for 2018/2019 for some clients.
Not with IRIS however as it's the beginning of June I expect next to nothing to be pulled over from HMRC.
Whereas HMRC impose strict deadlines on business to do almost everything they don't work to anywhere near the same standards & timescales themselves.

I'm not with Iris and have evidenced the problem. It's HMRC. Really frustrating.

We use Digita and it's exactly the same. Very hit and miss and usually more miss than hit. Not sure why HMRC need to make it so difficult. Why can't they just give us access through Online Services or via the client's PTA?

A question that they are regularly asked, for which they have no answer, but to parrot the "details will be available once reconciled aroud October each year" line

Comes up every year on the HMRC Agent Forum, and stock HMRC answer is the info is available after they have reconciled iy after October

As others have said, it is a HMRC problem. We use PTP which hasn't pulled in a single bit of data yet.

Why do we have to wait for HMRC to do the reconciliation? HMRC tell us to use the P60. The P60 is printed by the employer months before HMRC do the reconciliation. So if unreconciled data (the P60) is good enough, why can't we download it from HMRC?
