I have rang HMRC several times today regarding Agent line for clients Self Assessment  queries, and in the seriousness of all this work overload we have at the moment at this time of year, I couldn't help but laugh every time I phoned.  The helpline voice response says, the average wait time today has been 20 minutes!  When has anyone ever phoned them and been answered in 20 minutes!  They are having a laugh putting this on there.
