HMRC not processing Tax Returns correctly

has anyone else had this problem?

2 completely separate cases this week where we have submitted SATRs, one back in June, one in July, each one shown as submitted in Taxfiler - in each case HMRC have received the return according to online services but the tax liabilities are not showing.  We called about the first one as we are waiting for a refund and HMRC say their system is showing it was rejected but they need to put a trace on it as it should not have been.

Anyone else had this?  When it was just one I thought it was unusual these things can happen, but now with a second I am starting to think there is a deeper problem.

Yes I have had one just like this today - HMRC confirm ITR received in July but "not processed".
