HMRC Site - Down Again ?

Trouble with CIS

Anyone else having trouble today ?

I've submitted a CIS return via Moneysoft - still waiting for acknowledgement nearly an hour later.

Issues with VAT. Return accepted but pending processing and now when I login says the site is down for maintenance.

Same here - been waiting on Taxfiler since before 3pm to file a CT600 - thanks for posting Lion - this confirms it's not just me!!

Tried logging into their site just now and got the following message.

"Welcome to Agent Services

This service is unavailable due to maintenance"

Go to the original HMRC online services"

Click on link to original HMRC online services and guess where you get taken ....... yep, right back to the same page.

Maintenance? I don't think so. More like another flap.

Still nothing new there, HMRC always seem to be running around in circles.

VAT return left hanging mid submission - 2 x CT returns waiting for acceptance, now on attempt 27 - oh happy days :-)

NEST site down as well.

I don't know why terrorists bother with attacks on Government websites - they couldn't do a better job than the Government.

there is a note on the Companies House Website saying it will be down for essential maintenance all weekend. Probably the same for Agent Services as well.

Got my acknowledgement six hours after submission.

Usually, six seconds is a long time.

Agent services login says go to normal online services login
Logging in there loops to beta agent services
Logging into my personal tax account takes me to my business dashboard which seems to be working okay

I just rang the Online Services Helpdesk (no I don't have anything better to do on a Sunday!)
It IS scheduled maintenance, but they don't have a timescale when it will back up and running!

Submission receipts now seem to be coming through via email (as I have just submitted a CT600) unlike Friday but the agent site itself appears totally down.

Just to confirm what others have said .... I can now access Agent Services as usual again.

EDIT : I cannot access all VAT information, particularly recently submitted VAT Returns, so service does not seem to be fully restored as yet.
