hmrc unable to match input data

Despite numerous attempts hmrc does not recognise client details

Several attempts made to claim SEISS all clients details taken from HMRC demands to submit tax returns, and confirmation of returns lodgement and agreement with tax comp. Each time "Cannot match details". Client spent hours on hold re phone enquiry promised email within two days, email never arrives. What to do???????????????

The self employed individual needs to enter his/her UTR and NINo in the HMRC eligibility checker to see whether he/she is eligible. Having done that and been told that he/she is eligible, the individual should then continue to login to his/her own online tax account or to set one up.

At which point of the process is the "cannot match details" message displayed?
