How can I allocate more shares, from 1 share?

Didn't find your answer?

I'm interested in knowing how this works.

1 share with a nominal value of £1 will need to be converted to 10 shares, each with a nominal value of £1.

Would this be done via the Companies House SH01 form, and to specify an allotment of 9 shares, or are there further forms required?

Thanks

Your arithmetic doesn’t work. 1 x £1 = £1, but 10 x £1 = £10.

If you want to split a £1 share into 10, the nominal value of each new one will be 10p. No problem with doing that if that’s what you want. But why do you want to do it?

SH01 is the form to report the allotment of new shares. For a subdivision you want SH02.
