How is iCloud for you

Didn't find your answer?

It may just be me, because I never seemed to make mobile me work very effectively, but the synching of calendars, contacts and reminders between devices seems to happen on a very sporadic basis with iCloud, which leads sometimes to multiple entries, which I find irritating, or, when I think I've deleted a duplicate, having it disappear altogether.

Does any regular mac user have any words of wisdom?

just started using iphone (with ipad)...

so not really an experienced mac used....but on contacts make sure you have selected the 'right' group.....which is icloud (rather than all contacts or my pc) - this should ensure everything goes across.  In settings you will need to set up what info is shared in the cloud (on both devices) - and you can decide how new data is dealt with (under fetch new data within settings, mail-contacts-calenders).

There is also an icloud manager that you can download specifically for pc's (which i use) - this can be used to sync stuff.

I have a very little knowledge on this so don't take as gospel - just worked for me....
