How much do you spend in Digital marketing?

A major expense for Accounting firms is Digital marketing, how much ball park exactly is it?

Didn't find your answer?

I want to understand, how much (ball park) do Accountants have to spend in Digital marketing to acquire leads.
Appreciate breakdown like:
1. SEO - 20%
2. Content marketing - 25%
3. Influencer marketing - 10%
4. SMO - 15%
5. SMM/PPC - 25%
6. Other - 5%

Website, SEO, content = £100 pm
Google AdWords = £75 pm
Other bits and bobs £500 pa

Generates 2-3 leads pm which convert to around £2-3k pm.

We look to spend about 3% of GRF on marketing so about £7.5k per year.

Slightly surprised to see extensive use of the verb "spend" in this discussion rather than "invest".

Presumably you're doing it (marketing) because you expect a return that is greater than the outlay.
