I wonder if someone could confirm my understanding.
Client is claiming EIS Relief and has given me Form EIS3. He is under the Self Assessment system.
Am I correct in understanding that this Form is for records only and does not need to be sent to HMRC?
Thanks

Correct....
The EIS claim is made on the tax return and as long as you include full details as a white space note (i.e. reference, amount, date etc) then there is no requirement to send the actual EIS certificate to HMRC when claiming Income tax or CGT deferral relief.
