Ring the Sage helpline they should be able to sort it.

I'm afraid your post isn't very clear, I don't actually understand what your problem(s) is (are).

Hi Anna,

When printing or saving reports or layouts as PDF or XLS files in Sage 50 Accounts, the message 'The data area passed to a system call is too small' may appear.

This message can appear when printing or previewing reports if the SagePDFPrinter is set as the default printer. To correct this, ensure that the correct default printer is set within Windows. To do this press and hold down the Windows key and press R > type control printers > Enter > right-click the required printer > Set as Default Printer.

Or, if you’re using Sage 50 Accounts 2010 (v16) or below download and install the Sage Report Designer v1.3.2011.30 update, available www.sage.co.uk/accountsupdates For further info on this you can refer to Ask Sage article 27359: https://bit.ly/2l2Csvn

If the issue still occurs in custom layouts or reports, edit the report or layout, then go into Properties pane > Save Printer Settings > choose False > File > Save.

This error doesn’t affect your book balance. This is the actual balance of the bank account in the software at the date specified for the reconciliation. The balance does not include transactions dated after the reconciliation date.

Therefore, if any transactions that are dated before your book balance have been posted or deleted, this will affect your book balance. Your book balance will also be affect if you’ve changed your statement date.
