Talk to sage, they will quote if you can give enough information.

When you buy sage 50, there are standard templates, you can import audit trails so if you can put your data into the same format you can suck it in.
You could do bank movements into Xero/ QBO in the same way.
You could start looking at this and start the new year from April in the new way?

I import data from Excel almost everyday into Sage 50 Accounts.

It's very simple. Setup your Excel file columns into a certain order. Go to Sage and click File, Import, Audit Trail and select the Excel file (saved in csv format).

See Sage article Sage 50 Accounts (16905) at

Just make sure you format all nominal accounts to '0000' format and not '30' for example. Use Excel custom format of 0000.

You can also import supplier and customer accounts details and opening balance invoices.

Sage standard imports don't cover all the areas (e.g. Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, product Invoices, Service Invoices, Charity, Projects, ...). Have a look at Excel2Sage by Red IT Solutions Limited:

which has pretty much all of the Day-To-Day transactions you will need. There is also a free trial and YouTube video channel

with lots of examples and tutorials.
