how to record for cash donations

a company wants to pay the wages for a coach for a CASC IS THIS OK

Didn't find your answer?

Hi There

A company wants to give a cash donation to a casc for the wages for a coach , they would prefer to pay the coach direct into his bank.
Is this allowable as a cash donation as it will not be showing as cash through the casc bank.
The coach is already a employee of the casc.

Many Thanks in advance

if the money goes to the coach it's not a 'donation' to the CASC is it? If they pay it to the coach deducted BR tax & NI.

the coach is currently getting paid through the casc and paying tax and NI etc
so if the company paid the donation directly to the casc and the casc paid the coaches wages that way then thats ok
