How to repay missed CIS tax?

CIS payment was missed in the last tax year and subbie is asking for voucher

Didn't find your answer?

Hi
Company has accidentaly missed to file CIS tax and obviously didn't pay it for one of their subbies in the past tax year.
Now since the subbie has been asking for their voucher the company has noticed the missed CIS tax payment.
Could someone please advise how the company can deal with this situtaion and could the CIS tax be repaid in this financial year since it was only accidentaly missed?
Can the company still provide the payslip to the subbie without the tax included - just the net payment the subbie received or should the subbie be left without voucher for that missed CIS month and get this CIS tax adjusted payment included on a voucher for the current tax year?
How to deal with this situation now?

Thank you

You used to be able to get small changes amended on the phone, I am not sure if they still do that in this digital era. Call the CIS helpline.

But the amendment has to be in the correct quarter, the CIS has to be paid and a voucher has to be issued.

Moneysoft can defintely do CIS re-submissions for the prior year.

I successfully re-filed an October 2016 CIS return in August 2017 without any problems.
