Woah ... I'm only just recovering from hearing that you used to swing your ponytail at work. Was there a transition phase from kohl-eyed Goth to the young hipster?

I took you to be younger than these fashions indicate (or maybe you were a second-time-arounder like the Mods in the '80s) ... in which case Alice's even bigger hit may have been your anthem - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBqiC5ox8Bw
... and serves well as a soundtrack to how most MPs are now behaving!

My sub group of three prepared a presentation on the song at school. I brought in a plastic rapier as a visual aid.
I bet that girl was the star of her school for a while.

If Labour have an emergancy budget in holiday season Labour are getting a kicking in my budget report.

I hope they do the decent thing and wait until September for their showboating.

Good news on this front circulating this morning.

I wouldn't hold your breath for anything exciting during the budget though.

The only thing more depressing than having an election right now is not having an election.

Ballot papers need a third option: carry on without any MPs. Got to be the best choice.

I'm reminded of an old South Park episode about American elections where the choice was to vote for either a douche or a giant t u r d

I thought they were on a Kamikaze trip of late.
Hope they pull up before hitting the deck.

They have moved to become a transport company- they have an airport, ferry builder and camper van hire. (Once the polis return it- shame as it would have been handy during an election)

I am not very keen on their higher rate tax threshold, it has me paying 42% IT and 8% NI from £43,663 to £50,268, so £6,605 at an extra 22% compared with if I was living in Berwick, £1,453.10 a year extra- ouch.

My other complaint is we have had odd dealings with them, I had a letter I wrote to a third party published on an SNP MSP's Facebook page without my permission, this had my name on it, hardly appropriate behaviour, in fact typical politician arrogance that they may do as they please.

Why pick the 4th of July?
It is the only date the Yanks actually put in the right order.
Maybe because they were still British traitors at the time?
