I don't think so...

I've been thanked a few times and haven't received any notification.

So it is really for our own and the viewers benefit and does notify the poster that we are grateful for what they have said. Great.

Hello all

Appreciate the feedback and I can understand what you're saying.

Some sort of attribution of 'thanks' would be good. X thanked Y for Z post etc.

It might have to be one that goes into the ideas pot for now but anything else like this, please do always feedback. We do keep track of it all. :)
