I'm having a moment

Car capital allowances

Didn't find your answer?

My brain has died...

You buy a car for £10,000 and pay £50 RFL and £200 transaction fees.

CA on £10,000? £10,050? £10,250?

Help?

Most likely £10,200.

The RFL will be expenditure in the P&L.

Depends what exactly the "transaction fees" are.

The VED is definitely an expense though.

Thanks all, I literally couldn't get my brain to give me the answer (and Google was oddly unhelpful!).
