Import VAT Guernsey and other crown dependancies

Import VAT Guernsey and other crown dependancies

Didn't find your answer?

We are importing goods from Crowndependancies.

The vendors are zero rating the invoices.

What would be the easiest way to import the goods.

Is anyone aware of a import VAT accounting scheme traders in those islands can sign up to.

Or would it simply be the voluntary postponed accounting scheme.

Its just the normal import VAT due when goods enter the UK or Postponed Import VAT Accounting. Treat Channels Island suppliers as any other non-UK supplier, they are no different to EU or rest of the world suppliers.
